Ottoman Barbers was opened in 2009 by Emre Yilmaz, who learned the trade in his father's shop before bringing those methods to Bloomsbury. The techniques have not changed: hot towels, honed steel, a steady hand and time taken properly.

Every appointment starts with a conversation. We look at how your hair grows, how you wear it through the week and how much time you actually want to spend on it in the morning — then we cut to suit that, not to a template.

The room is quiet, the chairs are comfortable and nobody is rushed out of one. You'll leave with a cut that grows out well and the advice to keep it looking right between visits.
